Guarantee Fund Council re-elects Maksim Kolev as Chairman of the Management Board and Executive Director

At its meeting on 30 September 2026, the Council of the Guarantee Fund (GF) re-elected Maksim Kolev as Chairman of the Management Board and Executive Director of the Guarantee Fund for a four-year term.
The Council also elected Miroslav Kochev, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Management Board of Generali Insurance AD, as a new member of the Guarantee Fund’s Management Board. He succeeds Yuri Kopach.
Following the decision adopted by the GF Council at its meeting on 30 September 2026, the Management Board of the Guarantee Fund comprises:
- Maksim Kolev, Chairman and Executive Director
- Stefan Stoilkov, Executive Director
- Plamen Yalamov
- Plamen Shinov
- Miroslav Kochev
- Petar Avramov
- Konstantin Velev
The Council of the Guarantee Fund comprises all insurers required to make contributions to the Fund.
